If you want to know about the Sunnah of Eid-ul-Fitr then this article is for you.  Some day is Eid   The first day of the month of Shawwal is called Eid-ul-Fitr and the 10th of the month of Zil-Hajj is called Eid-ul-Azha. In Islam, these two days are Eid and happy days. On these two days it is obligatory to pray two rak'ahs as thanksgiving. All the conditions described earlier for the Jumu'ar prayer to be pure and obligatory also apply to Eid.
