 Widow marriage is very prevalent among the Mandi tribe. When a woman's husband dies, another man marries her. The woman brings up the new husband's children as her own. And if that woman has a daughter, then her stepfather will marry her in the future.

In other words, the girl who grew up seeing him from childhood, has to sit down with him in marriage. But in this community, father-daughter marriages do not take place due to blood relations. Marriage between stepfather and daughter is common. People of this community say that if they marry a widow, they take the responsibility of their entire family with her. That is why this marriage custom is prevalent in their society.

 Allah the Exalted said: It is haraam to marry the daughters of the wives with whom you have had intercourse with other husbands who are in your arms, and if you have not had intercourse with them, then there is no sin on you. no Surah Nisa verse: 23-24
