Introduction
According to the calculation of the lunar month, the current month that has started is the month of Sha'ban. Shaban is an Arabic word. It means 'to spread', to spread around. This month is the month of spreading mercy. In this month, Allah Ta'ala spreads His mercy on the people of the world. This is why it is called شَعْبَانٌ. Hazrat Anas agreed. Said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said - Shaban is named for the fact that more products are revealed in it for Ramadan. Honest deeds are revealed. And Ramadan is named for the fact that it burns away sins. Kanjul Ummal Hadith No. 44293
Rasulullah SAW said Shaban is my month
Hazrat Osman said that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that Shaban is my month and Ramadan is the month of Allah. Guniyatut Talebin page 445
Since Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam addressed the month of Sha'ban to himself, its status is very high.
In a hadith, Hazrat Anas Ibn Malek RA said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the virtues of Ramadan are over all months, just as the virtues of the Qur'an are over all words. And the virtues of Shaban are over all months as my virtues are over all prophets. And the virtues of Ramadan are over all people as the virtues of Allah are over all creatures.
In the month of Shaban there is Shabbat.
Allah Ta'ala says- "Ha-Meem. By the clear Book. We sent it down in a blessed night. Indeed, I am the Warner. In this night every wise matter is decided by Me." Surah Dukhan: Ayat-1-4
The famous tabi'i Mufassir Hazrat Ikrama. And the opinion of a group of mufassiriran is that in this verse Mubarak Rajni is meant to be Shabbat. But Allama Nabawi and most of the Mufassirirans are of the opinion that the night of Mubarak is meant to be the night of Qadr. Since one narration says that this night is a blessed night, its virtue is not less.
The Holy Qur'an was first descended from Laohe Mahfuz on Sha'ba. Later Nuzul started from there on Lailatul Qadr and ended in 23 years. In this way, the revelation of the Holy Quran can be done in two nights.
So Shave Barat is also of virtue, Shave Qadr and virtue. But there is superiority of comparative Shabe Kadar.
Bhagya Rajini
In another hadith, Hazrat Ata Ibn Abi Yasar Razi. Narrated by He said, A list is given to Malakul Maut on the Sabbath and it is said that you will charm the souls of those whose names are written on it.
So the death of the nephew is certain, and Allah handed over to Azrael (A.S.) on this night.
Preparation for Ramadan in the month of Saban
May Allah bless him and grant him peace in the month of Sha'ban, he used to prepare for Ramadan. He used to say –
Allahumma barik lana fi rajaba wa shaban, wa ballignah ramadan.
Meaning: O Allah, bless us with the months of Rajab and Sha'ban and make us reach the month of Ramadan. (Ahmad: 259)
Rasul SAW used to fast more in this month
Aisha said: I did not see the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) fasting in any month except Ramadan. And I did not see him fasting more than the month of Shaban in any month except Ramadan. Bukhari Sharif Hadith No. 1969
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to prepare for the month of Ramadan by fasting more and more. We should also fast more in this month.
In this month, the deeds of the servants are presented to Allah Ta'ala
It is narrated in the Hadith Sharif that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave a large amount in the month of Sha'ban because the deeds of the servants are presented to Allah Ta'ala in this month.
Conclusion
It is very important to worship in this month and there are many virtues in this month. So let us pray more in this month to get closer to Allah Ta'ala and make full preparations for Ramadan. May Allah Ta'ala grant us all the grace to do more good deeds.
