Malik Ibn Diner (RA) is a responsible deen and a friend of Allah Ta'ala. He earned the Mayarefat of Allah Ta'ala in such a way that even today we remember his name with reverence. I consider his events as a means of guidance. Among his many incidents, I am mentioning an extraordinary incident today.  The incident of Malik ibn Dinar (RA) buying a very valuable maid for two annas.  Once he was passing through a lane in the city of Basra, when he saw a royal maid there. The maid was sitting on a horse, flanked by some slaves. The owner pointed at the maid and said, "O maid! Will your master sell you?"  'Will this old man buy me?' she said  'Will your master sell you?' Malik asked again.  'If he sells, can you afford to buy me?' The girl replied.  'Of course there is! I can afford to buy a better maid than you.'  He smiled, and told his servant to bring Malik ibn Dinar to his house. When the maid came to the palace, she told everything…
