It is Sunnah to pray with Jamaat. In every mosque, arrangements are made to offer prayers with the congregation in order to preserve the Muakkadah in the Sunnah. The rule is that there will be one congregation in one mosque. However, if a second congregation is held in the same mosque, then depending on the circumstances, it may be makruh tahrimi.
Because this can reduce the importance of praying with the congregation. In such a way that when it is time for the first congregation, the worshipers will not go to the mosque and say that they will join the second congregation. Therefore, if one or more people do not attend the congregation for any reason, then they will pray alone.
However, if you wish, you can go to the house or any other place or go to a madrasa to pray. Once, after the congregation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had left, he went home and prayed. It is narrated in the Hadith Sharif that once the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came from an area to pray, he saw that the people (the Companions) had prayed, then he went to his house and prayed with the congregation.(Al Mujamul Awasat Tabarani, Hadith 4601)
Hazrat Hasan (R.A.) said: When the Companions could not gather in congregation, some of them would gather elsewhere, and some would pray alone in the mosque without adhan and iqama. (Sarakhchi of Mabsu, 1/135)”
Imam Muhammad (RA) was asked: If a group goes to the mosque and sees that the prayer is over, will they lead the congregation again with the call to prayer? In reply, Imam Muhammad (RA) said: No, they would rather pray alone” (Al-Mabsut 1/134).
Provision of the second congregation of obligatory prayers in the mosque.
Makrooh Tahrimi is otherwise permissible to perform a second Jamaat (after performing Jamaat once) in the mosque subject to four conditions.
The terms are:-
1. If the mosque is in the mohalla (located inside) and not on the main road then mohalla mosque is defined as a mosque which has a specific imam and prayers.
So if the mosque is located on the side of the main road or in the market etc. and is not a mahalla mosque. The definition of which is described above but second in that; Rather, the third and fourth congregations are not makruh.
2. The first Jamaat is performed with a loud call to prayer and Iqamat.
So if the first Jamaat is not performed with a loud call to prayer and Iqamat then the second Jamaat is not makruh.
3. The first congregation is read by those who are residents of that neighborhood and who have the executive power of that mosque.
So if the first Jamaat is made by those who do not live in the mahalla of that mosque and those who do not have the executive power of that mosque then the second Jamaat will not be makruh.
4. The second congregation is performed with the same manner and importance as the first congregation. This fourth condition is according to the opinion of Imam Abu Yusuf (RA). According to Imam Abu Hanifa (r.a.h.), forming the second Jama'at after changing the behavior of the previous Jama'at.
It will be makruh. So if the second congregation does not do it in the mosque; If you pay it at home, it will not be makruh.
According to the opinion of Imam Abu Yusuf (RA), the second Jama'at is not performed in the manner in which the first Jama'at was performed, i.e. if the imam of the first Jama'at leaves the place where he is standing, the posture of the previous Jama'at will change and the second Jama'at will be performed. It will not be makruh.
Note: Although some people follow the opinion of Imam Abu Yusuf (RA), but the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) is stronger on the basis of evidence. The indifference and laziness that is being shown in the present era regarding religious matters, especially the congregation of prayers, is also the claim that a fatwa is to be given that the second congregation is makruh despite the change in attitude of the previous congregation. Otherwise, people will deliberately abandon the first Jamaat in the hope that we ourselves will join the second Jamaat.
Conclusion
